ABS Stats - House Prices

Australian Bureau of Statistics figures show that established house prices across the country fell by only 1% over the June quarter to be 0.1% lower than a year ago.

For new homes (minus land) prices were up by 1.1% over the quarter to be 5.7% higher than a year earlier.

Established prices were up in Melbourne (1.3%) and Brisbane (0.8%). However Sydney prices fell by 3.1%.
