The Defence Housing Authority to sell a $100 million package of investment homes.

Posted:

The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) is planning to sell a $100 million package of investment homes, which is to become one of the first large-scale institutional offerings in the residential sector.

In the 5 years to June 2004, more than 4,500 homes were sold on extended leases under which the DHA managed and maintained the properties for around 10 years. A gross realisation of nearly $1.3 billion was generated.

Under the DHA proposal, the authority would take care of all the management issues.
